To provide financial assistance to graduating seniors and graduates of Burlington High School in Burlington, WY who are planning to attend or currently enrolled at a post-secondary, accredited educational institution (university, community college, trade/technical school). The Selection Committee considers primarily the student's financial need, along with the student's character and potential for success, as demonstrated in the application and the credentials submitted in support thereof.

To be eligible, applicants must have a parent who, at the time the award is made, is and has for at least one year, been employed by FMC Wyoming Corp at its facility in Sweetwater County. The student's academic record and achievements, as well as financial need, is considered by the Selection Advisory Committee, along with the student's participation in community and extra-curricular activities.

Although individuals of all trades will be considered, special attention will be given to the automotive and construction trades e.g. carpentry, plumbing and electrical.

To provide financial assistance to sophmore, junior and senior students from Johnson County who are enrolled at least half-time at a post-secondary, not-for-profit educational institution (university, community college, trade/technical school). The amount of the award may vary from year to year. The primary criterion for selection is financial need. Academic proficiency is also considered, with preference given to Sophmore students.
