The Rock Springs Area Community Foundation (RSACF) was established in the summer of 1991 with a matching grant from the City of Rock Springs. This affiliate serves the Rock Springs Area in addition to the other communities of Sweetwater County, Wyoming. The RSACF has been committed to helping their area's non-profits become more sustainable by awarding meaningful grants that truly enhance community building. With the long-term goal to make a difference in the quality of life for the present and future generations of people in Sweetwater County, the Rock Springs Area Community Foundation actively seeks out and evaluates community needs as well as educates and encourages vital area non-profits to build endowments that will ensure their effectiveness for years to come

Rock Springs Area Community Foundation Grants

RSACF grants are awarded from various funds advised upon by the RSACF Board including the Willie Lopez Quarter Back Club, RSACF Endowment Fund, Dorothy and Dellas Larsen Fund, Clarence and Mary Samuels Fund, and the Rock Springs Area Opportunities Fund

 

Eligible Organizations and Activities

Nonprofit organizations with a 501(c)(3) designation or otherwise tax-exempt agencies that operate in Sweetwater County are eligible to apply. Grants are not made to individuals.

 

Applications and Deadlines

The Rock Springs Area Community Foundation no longer reviews unsolicited applications.
