WYCF Awards $193K to Nonprofits Across the State
Monday, October 11, 2010The Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) has announced $192,925.50 in grants to nonprofits across the state of Wyoming.
The WYCF is a non-governmental, publicly supported foundation, governed by a self-perpetuating board of citizens, making grants from individual funds contributed or bequeathed by individuals, families, corporations, nonprofit organizations and other sources. Since its inception in 1989, the WYCF has made $23 million in grants to Wyoming nonprofits. As of June 2010, the WYCF has made $1.4 million in grants for the year of 2010.
The WYCF has three grant cycles per year, the next deadline is November 1st. Funds are granted to organizations that are effectively working to make a difference in the quality of life for residents in the state of Wyoming.
