Jim Gersack joined First Interstate in February 2006 and serves as vice president and wealth advisor within the Wealth Management Group's Jackson Hole office. Jim’s career began in 1997 as a financial advisor with Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. in San Francisco and later served as senior vice president of Bank of America’s Private Bank for their Idaho market. Jim attended Montana State University and University of Maine and earned his bachelor's degree in finance with a minor in economics.

Jim’s current board positions include: Grand Teton Music Festival, Latino Resource Center and Finance Chair of Our Lady of the Mountain’s Catholic Church. A few of his past board positions include The Boise Symphony and The Children’s Home Society of Idaho. Jim was a recipient of the Idaho Business Review’s Top 40 Under 40 for the State of Idaho in 2005.
